Giftset Packaging Guide:

 

  • The Kiditoys counterfeit appeared in 2008 (See Guide Above).

  • Zhong Jin also produced the giftset and also sold the figures loose and then carded versions appeared later.

    • There are 3 Zhong Jin giftset counterfiet boxes​ all have colour gradient issues ie fading/sunburst differences.

      • v1 Missing the grey border between devastator artwork and hook/long haul/mixmaster. (v1 Zhong Jin box only)

      • v2 The assortment number 5717 should be down next to Mixmasters windscreen, on the counterift its up inline with the mixer.

        • The v2.1 is the same as v2 box except its had significant print issues on the back of the box. See image.​

      • v3 has a Studio Ox battle scene on the back of the box. (Devastator vs Omega Supreme).

  • Styrofoam - should be compact and have various lined circles. If their are circles with dots then its counterfiet.

Individual Packaging Guide:

 

  • No assortment number in lower right of card

  • Wrong font for "Transforms from [...]"

  • The sun burst behind the character art does not fade correctly (too sharp)

  • The grid lines are too thick on the counterfeit.

  • On the counterfeit, the grid lines are hard to make out inside the sun burst.

Figure Guide

 

  • There are two versions of most of the counterfiet constructions. The images above depict the v1 figures, some of the figures have had some of their defects corrected for their v2 versions.

  • Figure Color variants - black, orange, yellow, white.

Giftset Instructions Guide

 

  • There are two versions of the giftset booklet style instructions.​

    • Both version are where four of the figures names are missing from each charcters lineart sheet. Only Bonecrusher and Scrapper have their names in place. If your instructions have all four names then they are original.

      • v1 Has the superwing present connecting to hook and the copyright is complete with diacritics. Ie Québec​

      • v2 Does not show the superwing and the copyright doesnt not have any diacritics. Ie Quebec
