Grandslam / Raindance

There are two counterfeit versions of the Grand Slam / Rain Dance figures. The first released was first released 2011 while another appeared in mid 2023. The comparision pictures below refer to the 2011 (v1 version).

Packaging and Figure Guide:

 

  • Check the grid between the announcement and Grandslam, the KO is missing the grid squares totally (v1 counterfeit only).

  • The 2023(v2 counterfeit) fixes the noted issues on v1 carback and the sticker issues appear to be addressed, however there are still some identifiers including but not limited to

  • Is missing text Ages 5 & Up in the top left corner

  • Is missing the bold text "Transforms from Cassette to Vehicle and back! Cassettes combine to form Robot!"

  • Back of card - the instructions on the Raindance panel are too close to the edge (no border margin space)

  • Sticker placement - sticker issues appears to be resolved in stock photos, if anyone has one inhand for comparison that would be much appreciated.
