Reflector has never been reissued, any Reflector advertised as a reissue will most likely be counterfeit.

KO Box design

Packaging Guide:

Mail-away Box
Original factory tape is old. Regardless of storage, especially being on a white box, its impossible for the tape to stay perfectly clear over all these years.
The box cardboard is slightly thinner than original.
The KO box has an uneven space between 1 and 2 (12505) and the first 5 should be directly above the M, on the KO it is slightly to the right. (See image below)
Styrofoam Insert (2 Versions of insert were produced.)
v1 and v2 trays - The polystyrene tray is made of less-dense foam/poly cells, (its a cheaper grade, easy to see the cells/edges easily damaged).
On official g1 poly/foam tray inserts, they all have many circles stamped on them on the top and/or rear. These circles have 6 lines running through them. The counterfeits attempted to replicate the circles but they have dots instead of lines on them.. This is often hard to see in photos with alot of lighting and are better viewed up close.
The v2 tray is missing the finger tabs.

Figure and Accessory Guide:

Does not come with factory stickers applied. They are on a seperate sticker sheet.
The missiles of the original come attached on a 4-sided rectangular plastic tree. On the counterfeit, the tree is missing one side that connects to the end of the missiles, see image above.
Spyglass has a darker blue paintjob on his metal chest. The trapeziums on the legs should be the same size. Screws are also used on his legs rather than the original rivets. Early runs also came with two right arms.
Viewfinders arms are grey/silver plastic. On an original, viewfinders forearms have perfect plastic mix and coloration consistency. On a KO, the plastic isn't mixed as well and you can see a wash in the plastic.

Instructions Guide:

There are two counterfiet instructions, version 1 is pictured above. The purple on version 2 is much darker, it does fix the positioning and flash issue from version 1.
