Counterfeit Swerve appeared September 2022

 

Packaging Guide: (Real Swerve prizes in disguise cardback pictured above).

• The cardback that was counterfeited is the prizes in disguise version.

• The hole punch is centered, on genuine cards it should be off center, through the prizes in disguise blurb.

• The boxart photo shows his vehicle mode with a rubsign, it should not have a rubsign - it appears to use the same image as the 2018 official reissue see the grey border over the box art.

• It has the "More than Meets the eye" text on the front of the card, 1986 minibots on prizes in disguise cards do not have this text.

Official Reissue

• Swerve was reissued in 2008 and 2018, both reissued figures have a painted face (blue eyes etc), only the 2018 reissue has similar packaging, identified by the Ages 8+
