Bumblebee

Bumblebee

Packaging Guide:

  • The v1 and v2 card is hole punched off center. The v3 card is hole punched in the center. (Originals are punched off center so they hung straight in store). *(See point 4 for v2.5 card)
  • The v1 and v2 card has abbreviated copyright info on the back of the card, like the Chinese 90's release -i.e., "manufactured in (Country) under license from Takara" is missing on the back of the card.
  • On the actual Chinese 90's release card the instructions show a pre-rub bumblebee. The v1 KO card has him with a rubsign.
  • On the v1 and v2 cards the gridlines are all black, while the red background on the card is still fading to black behind FORMERS. The v3 card has grey gridlines but they are still too bold compared to an original. There is a further transitional card with a black gridlines and hole punch in there center, this would be v2.5.
  • The v3 card is missing the dot for the exclamation mark. A further complication is that this card has 2 variants - the instructions show either the prerub figure v3a (long copyright) or the rubsign figure v3b. (short copyright).
  • The autobot symbol on the chest of the artwork is mostly covered by the figures right arm when it should be visible.
