• Initially only the box was produced (Version 1). Later the Version 2 box was produced and sold with counterfeit figures (The images above are from the V2 box)
• As the V1 box didnt have any figures unscrupulous sellers did put real technobot figures in the counterfeit box and sell the set as vintage.
• Weirdly the v1 box has less tells than the v2 box
• There is no triangle pointing to the tech specs
• There character images in the transformation sequence are positioned incorrectly
• There is 7 grid squares between the 'Change' instructions when there should be 8. See image

Packaging Guide - Individual

• Individually packaged Technobots hit the market early April 2021.

• Scattershot
• Counterfiet Box colour is darker/more dull than original, dark colored grid squares appear almost black, most noticeable around top of window.
• The window edge is too rounded under the toy photograph and around the knee of the artwork.

• Afterburner
• Hole punch is too far over the NS it should be more centered above the S
• The counterfeit card uses the 5871/5723.06 Assortment, that should be the "Free transformer decoy" cards
• Card color is darker/more dull than original, dark colored grid squares appear very dull, most noticeable behind top of character artwork.
• Tech specs have the incorrect technobots name.
• Alignment issue on the right instruction steps headings.

• Lightspeed
• Hole punch is too far over the NS it should be more centered above the S
• The counterfeit card uses the 5874/5723.06 Assortment, that should be the "Free transformer decoy" cards
• Card color is darker/more dull than original, dark colored grid squares appear very dull, most noticeable behind artworks shoulder.
